Its a song that highlights the process of identifying a problem and making a solution for it. The acknowledgement of a problem is the key piece here. I wrote it from watching a bunch of things on youtube and tik tok, i noticed how certain people (especially those in their 20s or so) were so solution focused on a problem and yet despite that, they were often were having difficulties moving past that problem.
Identificiation/acknowledgement that there is a problem and spending a little time (but not too much time) breaking it down is a key part of that problem solving process. If one glosses over the actual acknowledgment and identification of a problem and goes straight to the solution, one often finds that the problem still exist. Acknowledgement that the problem exists in the first place, is a key part of problem resolution.

LYRICS

Ask myself questions, to figure my discord, acknowledge whats been stored, inside of me

This whole things stagnant, its all come misaligned, but ill leave it all behind and thats ok

Now i have my peace of mind
Cause i recognize whats failing me
And ill leave it all behind
The wind now firmly tailing me

Im free, no tethers in my world x3

This new sensation, it grabs a hold of me, i finally am free of these old chains
A new transition, the dawn of my new age, its time to change the page, that was me

Now i have my peace of mind
Cause i recognize whats failing me
And ill leave it all behind
The wind now firmly tailing me

Keith's Debut Album Independently Reached

This latest track by Keith Sheehan is a reflective and empowering anthem that dives into the heart of problem-solving. The song explores the critical process of identifying and acknowledging the problems we face—a step often overlooked in the rush to find solutions. Through honest introspection, the lyrics guide listeners toward understanding that true resolution begins with recognizing the source of one’s discord.

Inspired by observing the struggles of younger generations, particularly those in their 20s, Keith paints a picture of individuals trying to solve problems without fully grappling with their root causes. The song highlights the importance of spending just enough time breaking down a problem before moving toward a solution. It reinforces that glossing over acknowledgment can lead to recurring difficulties, but once the problem is recognized and accepted, a path forward becomes clearer.

The lyrics encapsulate this transformation. The protagonist goes from feeling stagnant and misaligned to finally achieving peace of mind by recognizing what’s been holding them back. The imagery of “leaving it all behind” and “the wind now firmly tailing me” serves as a metaphor for the freedom and momentum that come with facing one’s challenges head-on.

At its core, the song carries a powerful message: true freedom isn’t just about solving problems but about fully understanding them. This shift from burden to liberation marks the dawn of a new age for the individual—a rebirth into a life without chains, driven by clarity and purpose. Keith’s centrist tone ensures the song remains relatable to anyone who has struggled with finding balance, no matter their background.

In an age where quick fixes are celebrated, this song reminds us that meaningful progress requires reflection, patience, and ultimately, a willingness to confront what’s holding us back. It’s an anthem for those on a journey of self-discovery, learning to ask the right questions, and embracing the power of acknowledgment on the road to personal freedom
