Move On: My Message of Healing, Unity, and Renewal
When I wrote “Move On,” I wanted to create something that speaks directly to our need for healing and unity. This song is my personal call for all of us to let go of what divides us, to release the pain and the blame, and to find strength together. I’ve felt the weight of past struggles, and I know many of you have too. But we can’t stay there. We have to push forward, embrace change, and believe in a future where we lift each other up.

“Move On” is about stepping into that brighter place. It’s about finding our shared resilience, reclaiming our power, and allowing our togetherness to revive us. In each line, I hoped to capture that feeling of renewal and readiness—the readiness to take that blessed step toward unity and hope. We’re stronger when we rise as one, and this song is my invitation for you to join me on this journey of healing and growth.

Let’s move on together, mend our hearts, and create a future where we all thrive.

LYRICS

Ive implored you, now Ill plead again
Can we put this behind us, can we put this to an end
The finger pointing, causing all this pain
We should not lose our heads
Time to move on from the strain

Dont walk alone our togetherness revives
Manifest sown, we must will ourselves to rise
Reclaim our thrown, in our new stride, we all will thrive

Its time we move on, repair our broken hearts
We must pull ourselves together, bring about a fresh new start
Oh God please help us, take this blessed step
Help us put all this behind us, help us put all this to bed

Dont walk alone our togetherness revives
Manifest sown, we must will ourselves to rise
Reclaim our thrown, in our new stride, we all will thrive

Were ready, move on
Were ready move on
Were ready

“Move On” is a pivotal track on The Ardent Centrist, a collection of songs that explores the complex landscapes of today’s polarized world. In The Ardent Centrist, I wanted to capture both the urgency and hope within a centrist perspective—one that values balance, understanding, and the power of coming together across divides. “Move On” is a call to action, a reminder that while we may hold different viewpoints and have diverse experiences, there is always room for connection and progress if we choose to find it.

In today’s climate, it can be easy to focus on what separates us, but this song is an invitation to do the opposite. “Move On” asks us to let go of the finger-pointing and blame that so often lead to division and to instead focus on what unites us as people. The heart of this track is the idea of resilience through unity—of working through our differences, not by ignoring them, but by finding shared ground and respect.

The Ardent Centrist as a whole, and “Move On” specifically, is rooted in the belief that real strength lies in our ability to listen, to empathize, and to find common purpose. This song sits at the core of the album, anchoring it with a sense of optimism for a future where we all thrive. It’s not about forcing agreement; rather, it’s about encouraging each of us to take a step back, reflect, and come forward with an open mind.

As I wrote “Move On,” I wanted to capture this notion of moving beyond individual grievances to build a stronger, collective resilience. On The Ardent Centrist, it’s a moment of clarity, a reminder of the potential we have to repair what’s been broken—not by looking to the extremes but by standing together in that shared, sometimes overlooked middle ground. In a world of division, “Move On” is a call for unity, healing, and a fresh start for us all.
